Quercesecca is a pet-friendly farmhouse in Maremma, southern Tuscany, where you can relax and enjoy the surrounding nature together with your pets.
At Quercesecca we don’t just allow pets – they are welcome to be part of your holiday.
Quercesecca is the ideal choice for guests travelling with pets, as apartments and cottages are surrounded by open green areas, allowing cats and dogs to move freely and enjoy plenty of shaded spots.
The farmhouse offers a large internal walking area and is set within 50 hectares of land, bordering a beautiful pine forest that leads to the beaches of Marina di Grosseto and Principina a Mare, pets are welcome in the apartments and cottages, while at Podere H they are not allowed in Basic rooms and Classic rooms with veranda

On vacation with the dog
In the surrounding area there are many paths where one can set off for long walks with dogs or cats alike and just a few kilometers away is one of the only dog beaches in the area.
Even just for a weekend, pack a few toys, a bowl for water and food , your pet’s health book and come to visit us in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma.

Dog Beach
Halfway from Marina di Grosseto to Castiglion Della Pescaia is the “Fuori Rotta” where pets are allowed. To reach it one must park close to the “Le Marze” camping and walk cross the pinewood forest to reach the beach, it is a 5-10 minute walk from the main road. Just before you get to the beach there is also a pleasant bar with a terrace and a range of food and drinks
